This baby pancake recipe was an instant hit with my daughter and a great way to add extra veggies to her diet. The creaminess of the cream cheese balances out the sharpness of the cumin (jeera).
The chilli I use in this savoury baby pancake recipe is optional and not a large amount to produce a burn when eating. However, you can adjust or not use chilli altogether. A good alternative could be using black pepper.

Alternatives
If we are not in the mood for pancakes but something with a little more substance, I slightly change the recipe to make it similar to French toast.
Blend the ingredients as instructed and add the blended mix to a large bowl. Add the eggs but leave out the flour. Then dip a piece of bread in and fry like you would the pancake! My daughter loves this spongy texture and it can also be cut into soldiers for younger babies.
